Detectives are appealing for information following a serious assault that occurred at Burleigh Heads on Sunday, September 22.
Around 2.30am, police were called to the intersection of First Avenue and The Esplanade following the report of a disturbance.
Upon arrival, police located a man with a life-threatening head injury.
The 22-year-old victim was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Investigators are appealing to any witnesses or anyone who may have relevant dashcam or CCTV vision of the area at the time of the incident to come forward.
