Motorists are advised of changed overnight traffic conditions at Cudgera Creek on the Pacific Highway from next week to carry out bridge resurfacing work at Cudgera Creek.

Work will start on Thursday, March 27 and will be carried out from 8pm to 5am to minimise impact to motorists. The work will take up to six nights, weather permitting.

Northbound traffic

On Thursday, March 27 the northbound off ramp at the Cudgera Creek Road interchange will be closed during work hours.

Northbound highway motorists wanting to access Cudgera Creek Road will need to continue north to the Clothiers Creek Road interchange before travelling south and exiting at the Cudgera Creek Road off ramp to Cudgera Creek or Pottsville.

Motorists should allow up to ten minutes extra travel time.

On Sunday, March 30 the northbound on ramp at the Cudgera Creek Road interchange will be closed during work hours.

Motorists in Cudgera Creek or Pottsville wanting to travel north will need to first travel south then detour via the Brunswick Valley Way interchange.

Motorists should allow up to 20 minutes extra travel time.

Southbound traffic

On Monday, March 31 the southbound on ramp at the Cudgera Creek Road interchange will be closed during work hours.

Motorists wanting to travel south from Cudgera Creek and Pottsville will need to first travel north then detour via the Clothiers Creek Road interchange.

Motorists should allow up to ten minutes extra travel time.

On Tuesday, April 1 the southbound off ramp at the Cudgera Creek Road interchange will be closed during work hours.

Southbound highway motorists wanting to access the Cudgera Creek Road need to continue south to the Brunswick Valley Way interchange before travelling north and exiting at the Cudgera Creek Road off ramp.

Motorists should allow up to 20  minutes extra travel time.

Lane closure and reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place during work hours for the safety of workers and road users.

Motorists are advised to drive to traffic conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
