The winners of the Northern Rivers AFL Cup are the Ballina Bombers, who after an undefeated season, made their stamp on 2025 with a convincing win over the Lismore Swans.
The Ballina Bombers have won the cup making sure everyione knew it, with a fial score of 7.9.51 to 2.2.14 at Oakes Oval last Saturday afternoon.
A representative from the club described the win ‘as making a huge statement for what’s to come’.
Third place was fought between Lennox Head Saints and the Byron Bay Mapies, with the Saints winning in a close match – 6.7.43 to 6.3.39 over the Magpie.
The play off for fifth was between Brunswick Heads and Casino with Brun winning 15.3.93 to 1.3.9.
