Mullumbimby’s Left Bank Road was the scene of a major traffic incident on Friday afternoon when a truck rolled over.
The truck appeared to be carrying fill or mulch, much of it spilling from the truck’s wagon onto the side of the road shortly after 2pm Friday.
Authorities didn’t issue an official report but a Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service spokesperson said paramedics from the Lismore base were sent to the crash scene.
Paramedics assessed the male truck driver before declaring ‘high level’ support unnecessary, the spokesperson said.
He was taken by road ambulance to hospital but didn’t appear to have any major injuries.
Nobody else was physically injured in what appeared to be a single-vehicle crash and there were no fatalities reported.
Emergency services initially on-scene included police and fire fighters.
Police were unavailable for comment in time for publishing.
