The family of Ramone Gordon are appealing for public donations via GoFundMe to help cover the cost of his funeral.

The 25 year old was found dead at Clifford Park in Goonellabah on November 7.

Police believe his death stems from a violent brawl involving up to 20 people at the park, and have charged six people in connection to the affray.

The GoFundMe post reads, ‘Hi, my name is Kaleesha and I am creating this Go Fund Me on behalf of Ramone’s family’.

With broken hearts, we share the devastating news of the passing of a wonderful young man whose life ended far too soon.

Ramone Gordon was known for his bright smile – one that could light up any room – and his incredible ability to make others laugh, even on their hardest days. His jokes, his warmth, and his easy going spirit made him someone that everyone loved being around.

Losing someone so full of life and joy feels impossible to understand. As his family and friends struggle to cope with this sudden loss, many have reached out asking how they can help.

We have created this GoFundMe to assist with funeral costs, memorial arrangements, and the unexpected expenses that come with such a tragic and untimely loss.

No family is ever prepared for something like this, emotionally or financially. Any support – no matter the amount – will help ease the burden during this incredibly painful time.

‘If you’re not able to donate, simply sharing this page means more than you know.

Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support as we honour the life of a young man who brought laughter, light, and love to everyone around him’.

As of Friday, $4,465 raised, with an aim of $12,000.
