Police have issued a public appeal for information as part of investigations into a serious two-vehicle crash near Kyogle last Friday.
Emergency services were called to Bolziccos Road at Cawongla around 6am Friday 13 March, with responding officers told a motorbike and a car had crashed on a bend.
Paramedics treated the 30-year-old motorbike rider and a 21-year-old pillion passenger before taking them to Lismore Base Hospital with leg and head injuries.
Police said the driver of the car was a 35-year-old man who survived the crash without physical injury.
The Crash Investigation Unit is asking any witnesses to come forward, particularly the driver of a ute reported to have pulled over to help.
