Westpac Rescue Helicopter media say that around 11am, on Thursday 21 May, they were tasked by NSW Ambulance to a 4WD rollover on 10 Mile Beach, south of Evans Head.
They say, ‘The NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic was winched into the scene and assessed two patients from the vehicle’.
‘A man in his 20s was treated for head injuries before being transported by 4WD ambulance to Iluka Oval to meet the helicopter. He was further treated and stabilised by the critical care medical team before being airlifted to Lismore Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition’.
