Around 4.30pm, on Thursday 14 May, a Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance on an urgent inter-hospital transfer from the Grafton Hospital to the Lismore Base Hospital.
Rescue helicopter media say, ‘A male in his 60’s, suffering a serious medical condition, was stabilised by hospital staff and the NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic and the NSW Health doctor from the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to Lismore’.
