This Thursday, 2 July (tonight) the Northern Rivers Community Foundation (NRCF) Women’s Giving Circle is bringing a stellar lineup of leaders to the Regent Theatre in Murwillumbah to discuss how progress happens across climate, gender equality, media, democracy, and community action – and why local action still matters.
The No Small Thing panel will be led by Cheek Media founder, Hannah Ferguson, and brings together Grata Fund founder Isabelle Reinecke, former Nature Conservancy global director of gender equity Robyn James, and Coolamon Community CEO Evie Wood for a conversation about staying hopeful and effective in the face of large-scale challenges.
Empowering action
‘The problems shaping women’s and girls’ lives are vast, connected, and easy to feel powerless against. But the most powerful place to shift them might also be the smallest: the local, the grassroots, the room you’re sitting in,’ say organisers.
No Small Thing will run from 5pm to 9.30pm at the Regent Theatre, Murwillumbah. Tickets at: https://events.humanitix.com/no-small-thing-nrcf-womens-giving-circle.
