Queensland police are hunting two men who shot a boy during a home invasion.

The arrests followed an investigation by the Northern Rivers Region Enforcement Squad, assisted by Queensland Police, into alleged drug supply.

Strike Force Gimeko began in June.

About midday on Wednesday, September 30, officers arrested two Queensland men, aged 29 and 33, in the car park of a club on Leisure Drive.

Police allege they found three kilograms of methamphetamine, one kilogram of cocaine, six rifles, ammunition and several Queensland Police uniform items in two vehicles.

At the same time, officers stopped another vehicle on nearby Greenway Drive and arrested a 22-year-old Queensland man.

‘Police will allege that the younger man had planned to meet with the other males,’ NSW Police said in a statement.

About 12.20pm, officers searched a home on Bowen Loop at Cudgen, arresting a 32-year-old woman.

All four were taken to Tweed Heads Police Station.

The 29-year-old man faces 31 offences, including alleged drug and firearms supply, participation in a criminal group and wearing a police uniform without authorisation.

The 33-year-old faces 16 offences involving drugs, weapons, ammunition and alleged criminal group participation.

The younger man and woman were charged with criminal group participation and proceeds-of-crime offences.

Police refused all four bail ahead of a scheduled court appearance on Thursday, October 1.

Investigations are continuing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
