Spring into summer with local Dorper Lamb

As we move from spring into summer, it’s time to fire up the barbecue, enjoy long lunches with family and friends, and make the most of fresh, local produce. I recently spoke with Warren from Boorabe Dorper Lamb about the different cuts of lamb and how to get the best out of them.

Zero emissions? What a joke! Not that I have an issue with the goal, but Byron?

Beneath the hippy Shangri-la marketing, Byron is a small town that can’t figure out such basics as toilet blocks, crosswalks, potholes, tree planting and green bins. Recycling rates here lag, and despite being as flat as a pancake, the Byron bike trail network is pathetic and hasn’t seen any improvement in years.

Public transportation is almost non-existent. While some clamour for a rail trail, and others for trains, it is highly likely that most locals will use neither. Cars are king here for very obvious reasons.

Byron needs to give up the big dreams and learn how to tie its shoes, then walk, before progressing to a run. Give your head a shake.
