The Lismore City Council says Wyrallah Road is to be temporarily closed to all traffic at Bridge Street for the next two weeks.
Staff say 24-hour hour works are scheduled from today, Monday 23 Feb, until Monday 9 March.
Urgent additional slope stabilisation works are reportedly being carried out as part of the council’s 2022 disaster recovery.
Stoney Chute Road works to start next week
Work is also scheduled to start next week for six sections of Stoney Chute Road.
Council staff say the work will focus on stabilising the road base and refining drainage.
The project s to start on Monday 2 March and is scheduled to finish on 10 March and is also reportedly being carried out as part of the council’s 2022 disaster recovery.
