Farm entrepreneurs in agrifood, agtech or agriwaste who are in start-up, or scale-up mode, are encouraged to apply for a eight-week, fully funded accelerator program at the Byron Community College.

Aussie farmers are a particularly fine vintage. In fact, the average age of an Australian farmer is between 50 and 60 years old. This is the result of a number of interconnected social, economic and ecological challenges that typically inhibit the success of aspiring farmers. 

The Farm, located on Ewingsdale Road near the Byron Central Hospital, has sold for an undisclosed price, according to owners Emma and Tom Lane.
