I am surprised to see that the Tweed Shire Council is still searching (unsuccessfully it seems) for a replacement general manager after David Keenan’s departure earlier this year.
The solution is obvious.
Reg van Rij from Leda Developments has an intimate, in-depth knowledge of Council and its processes, knows what’s needed to fix it, knows what’s best for the community, and has a common vision with several councillors.
More importantly, he understands due process and transparency, has a tremendous sense of fair play and has an established (albeit unsuccessful) rapport with the Department of Local Government.
Let’s get behind his campaign. Reg for GM!
Nigel Greenup, Nunderi
REG FOR PM.
He would be more suited in the Abbott federal parliament (amongst similar minded friends).
Denial of the obvious means that it doesn’t exist.
