Byron Bay based singer-songwriter Tim Stokes performs his fusion of groove-based acoustic blues and folk with The Band at the Rails on Saturday 21 June.
Stokes, like many of the artists that he cites as his major influences (Paul Kelly, Midnight Oil, Crowded House and Ben Harper), loves sharing a variety of well-penned passionate songs. His live performances are a captivating journey that seem driven by a desire to entertain, uplift and inspire.
Stokes last year performed at Splendour in the Grass and can also be found sharing his music regularly at the local farmers markets.
Stokes is in the final stages of recording his (yet to be titled) next studio album to be released in spring 2014.
The Tim Stokes Band are @ The Rails Saturday June 21 from 7pm.
