Police will prepare a report for the coroner following the death of a woman in a fire at Yamba overnight.
About 11.30pm on Sunday a 62-year-old woman suffered burns at her premises in a retirement village on Fuchsia Street in Yamba.
She was airlifted to Brisbane Hospital but died several hours later.
Police from Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command are investigating. Early indications suggest the fire is not suspicious.
