What part of ‘you will be forcibly removed if you interrupt this meeting again,’ does Jim Beatson not understand?
The mayor has to keep order in meetings, and he has to be firmer than he has been previously to stop councillors from being abused and bullied in council chambers.
Jim Beatson should know better than to listen to a ratbag like Tom Tabart too, who whispered the bullets in his ear, before Tom left the chambers leaving him with the security guard.
If Jim Beatson wants to do more for his community, then put your energies toward standing as a councillor at the 2016 Council Elections.
Abuse should not be tolerated from ex-councillors either, and any man abusing a woman should be ashamed of himself. It’s absolutely not on!
