The debate of noise levels at Splendour is an ongoing debate for people who live near Yelgun, as I read on ABC North Coast news.
I live in South Golden Beach; we found it pretty mild, wasn’t offensive at all to us.
If the wind is blowing a certain way I can hear the trucks on the highway, the ocean, kookaburras singing, neighbours music and laughter, babies crying, dogs barking, kids playing in the street, my neighbour’s piano and trumpet playing daily and distant music festival sounds. I love it, it’s called living and if these noises were too much for me I would move elsewhere.
