Labor’s opposition leader Bill Shorten will be speaking at a community forum in Lismore today from midday.
The forum is being held at the Lismore City Town Hall, and is part of a push to have former Page MP Janelle Saffin reinstalled in the position.
Ms Saffin said Mr Shorten would be discussing the government’s plans to cut Medicare, cut penalty rates, and to introduce $100,000 university degrees.
The forum will include a question and answer session.
More to come
