Police were called to an apartment in Lloyd Street, Tweed Heads at around 1.30pm on Saturday (February 4) after a 44-year-old Banora Point man was assaulted by two unknown men.
The victim sustained a laceration to his eye and bruising around his head.
The two offenders are described as male and of Caucasian appearance, with one being of medium build with red hair and the other only described as having a slight build.
