Mullumbimby railway station burns down

At around midnight last night, a fire started which engulfed the old Mullumbimby railway station. Perhaps you’ve been waiting for LCD Soundsystem’s seemingly endless world tour to arrive on our shores. Or maybe you’ve been on edge waiting for The xx’s oft-promised Aussie appearances.

All these and many, many more are in the remarkable Splendour in the Grass 2017 line-up, released today.

Local tix

If you’d like to snag yourself a ticket, you don’t have to sit at your computer screen pressing refresh: locals are again being the given the opportunity to make advance purchases by queuing up old-school style on Sunday, April 2, at The Great Northern Hotel from 10am.

Splendour organisers advise that people from postcodes 2478 through to (and including) 2484 can each buy tickets for up to four people but they must attend in person, have an existing Moshtix account and show photo ID complete with local address (eg NSW driver’s licence) on purchase.

Payment must be with a valid Visa or Mastercard only.

Splendour asks that you email them if you have any queries at [email protected]. Please do not call The Northern, which is only the venue for the ticket sales.
