
The death of Natasha Lechner of Mullumbimby has been linked to the possible use of the poisoned frog secretions in a ceremony known as Kambo in media reports on the ABC.
A spokesperson for NSW police has reported that NSW ambulance and local police services attended a house in Station Street, Mullumbimby on the morning of March 8 where 39 year old was in cardiac arrest.
Treatment by ambulance officers was unsuccessful and she died at the scene.
A crime scene investigation has taken place with police stating that ‘a natural therapy procedure’ had been underway prior to her death.
The cause of death is yet to be determined by the coroner.
