Byron-based www.travellerstaleswriters.com has been awarded an Australian Arts Export Grant for the next eight years.
Founder and author Matt Towner has his own traveller’s tale to tell, having had a wild adventure and near-death experience after a motorbike incident deep in the Thai jungle led to three months in intensive care and a year in a wheelchair or on crutches.
Over the past two years www.travellerstaleswriters.com has published internationally short stories by other local authors such as Nick Taylor, Rod Thom, Timothy Harris, Piers Fisher Pollard, Nicholas Hallet, Storm Gray, Megan Jennaway, Emily Saunders, Ray Castle, Ian Harris, and Kol Dimond.
Full novels have now been published internationally by Barbara Carmichael and Kevin Moloney and Matt says that there are more to come.
