The Byron Community Centre has this afternoon announced that they closed today, Friday November 12 owing to a confirmed positive COVID-19.
The person case was at the venue on Tuesday, November 9, attending a Mental Health First Aid course.
A spokesperson for the Centre said they e are working together with NSW Health and complying with all SafeWork NSW guidelines to protect our community.
All staff, volunteers and course attendees have been advised and the building is undergoing a deep clean.
Casual and close contacts are getting tested and self-isolating as per public health orders.
