There’s commies at the door
Step back in time with to 1956 when the Susan B Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein are having their annual Quiche Breakfast. When the Communists attack, the closet doors blow open as secrets, repressed desires and an insatiable hunger for quiche are released.
Five Lesbians Eating A Quiche is a tasty recipe of hysterical laughs, sexual innuendoes, unsuccessful repressions, and delicious discoveries.
Red Cross fundraiser
The first show on Thursday, November 9, is a fundraiser preview night for the Red Cross- Lismore Branch. LTC supports this great local community organisation.
Red Cross branch member and Emergency Services Deputy Leader, Jenny Dowell, says the branch and tearooms have been a key part of LIsmore for many decades. ‘Just like Lismore Theatre Company. Together as volunteers, we build and enhance the community. The funds we raise from this performance will help us make more trauma teddies and help more local people in times of trouble.’
There are eight shows in the season so, dust off your best frock, gloves, hat, and handbag, and join in for the pinnacle event of the year.
Tickets for all shows are available now at: trybooking.com/events/landing/1116567.
