During the April Easter school holidays, three Mullum High students represented the local electorates in the prestigious NSW Youth Parliament program camp.
It is designed to educate Australian youth about bill-writing and passing processes in state parliament, with a focus on enhancing leadership and advocacy skills.
Mullum High’s media spokesperson says, ‘The year 12 students – Rotem Hadad, Estar Constable and Henrietta Barry – began their bill-writing journey in the respectively ordered committees of Rural and Regional Development, Justice, and Women’s Affairs’.
‘In July, they will be attending the Parliament chambers in Sydney to present and debate their bills in front of their peers and members of parliament’.
