The SES has issued and emergency warning directing people in low lying properties in Uki, especially along Kyogle Rd, Meadow Place and Smiths Creek to evacuate before 9pm tonight.

If you are unable to find accommodation an evacuation centre has been set up at Uki Hall, 1462 Kyogle Road, Uki NSW.
‘If you remain in the area, you may become trapped without power, water, and other essential services. It may be too dangerous for NSW SES to rescue you, and buildings may not be able to withstand the impact of flood water,’ said the SES.
