Billinudgel Fire Station is home to a new defibrillator (AED), kindly granted to the village by not-for-profit health insurer, Westfund.
The AED unit is attached to the centre-front of the fire station, and a spokesperson for the station told The Echo, ‘The Billi/Ocean Shores RFS crew will offer AED training in the new year, with businesses and community also being invited to attend’.
They added, ‘The Billi brigade welcomes new members and invites anyone interested in joining our crew to contact RFS: www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/volunteer/join-the-nsw-rfs’.

For four decades The Echo has printed the stories some people loved, some people hated, and some pretended not to read. If you want us to keep telling the truth, the real truth, not the sugar-coated version. We’ll need your support to keep the presses rolling.
