
A 50-year-old man is to face court in March charged with alleged firearms offences.
Tweed-Byron Police say they carried out a search warrant at a home in Banora Point around 5.55pm on Wednesday 21 January.
Officers allege they found and seized 28 gel blaster firearms, a rifle, two shotguns, and ammunition.
They arrested a 50-year-old man at the home before taking him to Tweed Heads Police Station and charging him with six related offences.
He was granted strict conditional bail and is to appear before Tweed Heads Local Court on Monday 2 March.
