A free two-day ‘DV-alert foundations’ workshop will be held in Kingscliff on 19 and 20 May, organised by Lifeline Australia.
Organisers say, ‘This training is designed for frontline workers, staff or volunteers and provides practical skills to help you recognise the signs of domestic and family violence; respond confidently and safely; and refer appropriately using the Recognise, Respond, Refer Model.’
Workshop details:
Tuesday 19 & Wednesday 20 May, from 9am – 4.30pm at the Kingscliff Beach Bowls Club, 131 Marine Parade, Kingscliff.
‘The training is fully funded with full catering supplied.
‘Participants who complete the full pathway also have the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.
