Have you ever imagined your artwork surrounded by towering trees, rainforest paths and birdsong? Now’s your chance.
Lismore Rainforest Botanic Gardens invites artists, students, community groups and creative souls of all experience levels to enter the 2026 Sculpture Exhibition, a celebration of art, nature and sustainability.
There will be an open day 24 May (from 9.30am to 1pm), where artists are invited to “explore the gardens, meet the team and find the perfect place for your sculpture”.
Expressions of Interest (EoI) close Monday 25 May at 5pm.

The event is planned for 20 September, with art being installed 14–18 September.
Organisers say, “Create an original sculpture using recycled, natural or discarded materials and exhibit your work at the gardens. From emerging artists to first-time creators, everyone is welcome, and entry is free”.
There are major prizes ($1,000 as first prize) plus a People’s Choice Award, say organisers, and schools and community groups encouraged to participate.
