I was so shocked to see on our Council community page that company Micromax has been employed to do a survey of our residents to gauge if we are disappointed with our services provided by Council.
Council has not only wasted much of our rates, but has left major infrastructure to become an unacceptable state. I can only question why?
Community: it’s time to get involved in notifying state governments about an independent audit.
The audit needs to look at why our infrastructure has been neglected for decades.
Where has all our money gone? The unsustainable growth of development when our major infrastructure is not fit for purpose. Community, it’s time to speak up, especially when I have been told Council is going to push for an unacceptable 35 per cent increase to our rates.
This continuing decline in meeting Council’s obligations for community needs while also passing more high-density developments cannot continue.
We certainly need to address these concerns.
