Current Australian Tarmac Rally Champions Pete Burrey from Billinudgel and Clinton Arentz ex-Casino have now added another championship podium finish to their record in the fourth and final round of Australian Targa Championship at Targa Tasmania.
Their combined points over the four rounds has given them second place in the championship behind the Lamborghini of Jason White and ahead of eight-times Targa and Bathurst winner Jim Richards in a Porsche.
Driver Arentz and co-driver Burrey in their Winston Development Evo X showed some of the more fancied competitors in higher horsepower cars that their Evo was well up to the challenge in the five-day event in Tasmania.
The pair now head to Victoria at the end of May for the Lake Mountain Rally, the second event in the four round series of the 2013 Australian Tarmac Rally Championship, which they are currently leading.
