It’s about time Ballina celebrated the Big Prawn and the anniversary of Las Balsas in style. Hundreds of locals and visitors took part in the family fun day which marked the 40th anniversary of the landing in Ballina of the Las Balsas fleet from Ecuador, the longest raft voyage in history.
