The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter has been tasked to the Broadwater Sugar Mill in response to reports of a man who suffered burns in an explosion there.
It is unknown if the patient will need to be flown interstate to a southeast Queensland hospital or Lismore Base Hospital.
