Elderly couple Dale and Cavelle Lawlor have not been seen since leaving a relative's home at Kingscliff on Monday.
Elderly couple Dale and Cavelle Lawlor have not been seen since leaving a relative’s home at Kingscliff on Monday.

Police have concerns for an elderly  couple who were holidaying in Kingscliff over the weekend but have failed to return to their daughter’s Brisbane home.

Dale and Cavelle Lawlor (pictured right), both aged 78, were driving a red RAV 4 with number plates 545 VQW.

They were expected to return to their daughter’s home in Durack last night, via the M1 and M7 motorways but have not arrived.

They do not have mobile phones or GPS devices and the dual-national couple may be unfamiliar with their surroundings.

Mr Lawlor is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 178 centimetres tall with a slim build and short grey hair. He may have been wearing blue jeans and a long-sleeved shirt.

Mrs Lawlor is described as Caucasian in appearance and of a slim build with short grey hair. She was believed to be wearing blue trousers and a blue blouse, as pictured.

Police are concerned that the couple both have medical conditions and their medications are at their daughter’s home.

Anyone who has seen the Lawlors or their vehicle is urged to contact their local police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
