A man has died following a motorbike accident on an unsealed dirt road west of Bonalbo on Saturday.
About 11am (Saturday June 25), a motorcycle was travelling south on Paddys Flat Road, Paddys Flat, when the rider collided with a Toyota Landcruiser travelling north along the same road.
According to a police report, a number of people rendered assistance until the arrival of ambulance paramedics.
The 44-year-old man from Albany Creek, Queensland, died while being transported to hospital aboard the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter.
Investigations are continuing and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
