The annual Brunswick Heads Old & Gold Festival took place over the long weekend with people from far and wide turning up to riffle through treasures, pre-loved gems or just be entertained they wandered the all-town garage sale.

As well as bargain hunting there were horse and carriage rides, live music, book fairs, free face painting, ‘Have a Go’ Marbles competition, cake stalls, Devonshire teas, environmental electric car displays, book fairs, free face painting
There was live music at the Soundshell, Valiant Music, the IGA, Memorial Hall, The Terrace and Clem’s Cargo and Brunswick Picture House hosted a kids show and barn dance.
Now in its 14th year, the festival was part of a long-term strategy to revitalise the town and organisers say ‘it’s been a wonderful success, all the while retaining the Simple Pleasures feel of the town.’
