
Police are in the process of laying charges against Byron Bay developer Bartholomew Elias over an incident involving his wife earlier this year.
Anna Karina Elias was granted an interim Apprehended Personal Voilence Order APVO at Ballina Local Court on March 17.
The provisional APVO was made an interim order by Magistrate R Denes, protecting Ms Elias and another person who was not named.
Mrs Elias did not appear at court.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Alison Kennedy requested Mr Elias’ matters be adjourned until June 15 to meet with charges laid by police in relation to the alleged incident between Mr and Mrs Elias.
Ms Denes adjourned Mr Elias’ matters until June 15.
The interim APVO between Mr and Mrs Elias continues.
