A man was arrested in Mullumbimby on the weekend in possession of illegal weapons. Another man is sought over the armed robbery of a Terranora store, while a woman has had her licence revoked after flipping her car while drunk at Stokers Siding.
A 25-year-old Main Arm man was charged with drug and property offences in Mullumbimby on Saturday (September 23).
At about 10.40am police were called to Clays Road and Coral Ave, Mullumbimby in relation to a suspicious vehicle.
Police spoke to the driver of the vehicle, which they then searched, seizing illegal items and others they deemed ‘unlawfully obtained’.
The man was charged with possessing prohibited drugs, possessing or using a prohibited weapon without permit and having goods suspected of being stolen.
He is due to appear at Mullumbimby Local Court today (September 25).
Terranora armed robbery
Police are seeking information following an armed robbery at a Terranora shop on Friday (September 22).
At 4.30pm a man entered the Terranora General Store and demanded money from the store employees at knife-point.
Police say the offender took a sum of money before running from the store.
He is described as male, aged in his 20’s, and was wearing a black hoodie, black shorts and white joggers.
Tweed Heads Detectives are continuing with enquiries.

Drunk driver flips car
At 9.50am on Sunday (September 24) police were called to a single motor vehicle accident at Stokers Siding.
The vehicle had flipped onto its roof along Stokers Road and the female driver was lucky to escape with minor injuries.
The driver was breath tested at the scene, giving a positive roadside reading.
She was arrested and taken to Murwillumbah Police station for further analysis.
As a result she was charged with High range PCA and had her licence suspended.
She is due to appear at Murwillumbah court.
