It was interesting to read that Australia’s Department of Veterans Affairs is giving thoughtful attention to using psychedelic medicine to treat returned soldiers with PTSD.
Congratulations to Byron local, Steve McDonald (no relation that I know of), for his advocacy.
What would also be useful – given that prevention is better than cure – is to give up following the USA on its ill-conceived adventures in the Middle East. Instead, just send non-specific thoughts and prayers and leave our soldiers to their invaluable work in local emergencies.
