Grigoryan Brothers

The internationally-acclaimed Grigoryan Brothers – Slava and Leonardo, are set to bring their extraordinary musicianship to Brunswick Picture House on Thursday, with their captivating new program, Past, Present & Future.

The concert promises an unforgettable evening of guitar artistry, celebrating a remarkable career that has seen the brothers become two of Australia’s most respected and influential classical musicians.

Renowned for their breathtaking technical skill, emotional depth and innovative programming, the Grigoryan Brothers have spent over two decades redefining what is possible on two guitars. Their performances effortlessly move between classical masterpieces, contemporary works, world-music influences and original compositions, creating a musical experience that appeals to both dedicated classical audiences and newcomers alike.

Their ability to communicate through music with warmth, precision and imagination has earned them standing ovations in concert halls around the world.

The Past, Present & Future tour reflects on the brothers’ remarkable journey while also looking ahead to new creative horizons. Audiences can expect a carefully curated selection of works that showcase the duo’s signature versatility, from intimate and reflective passages to dazzling displays of virtuosity.

The program highlights the unique musical connection that has made the Grigoryan Brothers one of the most celebrated guitar duos of their generation.

The concert’s setting adds another layer of appeal. Having wowed audiences last year with partner Sharon Grigoryan in a sold-out show at the Brunswick Picture House, Slava now returns with brother Leonardo in this new show. The intimate atmosphere of the Picture House makes it an ideal venue for experiencing the subtle nuances and rich textures of the Grigoryan Brothers’ music.

For music lovers seeking a truly special night out, the Grigoryan Brothers’ show is shaping up to be one of the standout live music events of the season.

Looking ahead, the Picture House has more dazzling shows coming up, including another guitar sensation, Alexandr Misko on Sunday, 21 June; the new collaboration between Richard Tedesco, The Cat Empire’s Felix Riebl and Ollie McGill on Saturday, 25 July; brand new shows from two of Australia’s biggest stars Lior on Saturday, 29 August and and Alex Lloyd on Saturday, 17 October; and an unmissable unplugged celebration, The Grunge Show presents MTV Unplugged Live on Friday, 21 August.
