As someone who happily does not participate in the woeful communicative medium of social media and internet ‘information’ I have felt for a long time that The Echo is my most trusted window into the human world. Especially the local human world.
I specifically would like to thank your paper and the contributors who offer diverse and open-minded discourse at a time where it seems paranoid black and white style extremism is popular.
Our community greatly benefits from the insights shared regularly by Phillip Frazer, Mary Gardener, Hans Lovejoy, Helena Norberg Hodge, David Lovejoy, Margo Kingston and, my personal favourite, Mandy Nolan. (We would be screwed without Mandy’s honest humour!)
