After being greeted by yet another blocked toilet at Captain Cook lookout, it would be fanciful, yet productive, if the Clarkes Beach area opens to tourism with a few urgent remediation works.
The amenities block near the cafe also needs upgrading. More visible and longer lasting signage and/or fencing placed along the dunes in front of the cafe and caravan park in the short term is required as these areas have become enticing for sliding down, kicking balls up, climbing up, etc.
Please Council and National Parks, now would be a good time to start.
