Three new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Northern NSW and two new cases were reported on the Mid North Coast since 8pm yesterday, Tuesday 5 October.
There were six new cases of COVID-19 reported in the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWHD) to 8pm, Monday 4 October.
There were ten deaths from the disease in the same time period with 594 locally acquired cases across NSW.
Lismore LGA, Casino, and Kyogle LGA are currently in lockdown until 11 October as cases continue to be identified across the Northern Rivers.
Lynne Weir, Acting Chief Executive Northern NSW Local Health District said that ‘Investigations are continuing into any possible public venues of concern relating to these cases and other cases reported in recent days, and more information will be provided as soon as it’s available.’
