I can see from the Christmas card sent out by our local member he is living in the 1950s.
There he is with two glasses of wine whilst his wife, in apron, is cooking in the kitchen. That explains the coalition attitude to women and other policies as they are thinking they are living in some type of 1950s-era nuclear family utopia.
