Investigators have renewed calls for information after a number of shots were allegedly fired into a home at Ballina last month.

About 9.15pm on Monday, 10 April, 2023, emergency services were called to a home in Brunswick Street, Ballina, following reports of shots fired.

At the scene, police were told that shots had allegedly been fired into the front of the property. No one was injured.

Police are asking the public to help identify this blue Ford.

Initial inquiries have led police to believe the incident is a case of mistaken identity.

A crime scene was established, with officers from Richmond Police District investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Investigators have now released CCTV footage of a blue Ford Falcon sedan seen in the area at the time of the shooting, and wish to speak with the driver who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
