I wonder if those councillors and Council staff who think it is a good idea to put more houses on the floodplain around Mullumbimby, despite the 2022 flood, have been watching what has happened on the Goulburn River floodplain in northern Victoria, where houses and businesses have been inundated by the second big flood in fifteen months, and people are talking of moving whole towns off the floodplain?
