
A weekend of garden and kids’ activities is planned at Crew Garden near Ballina on Saturday January 20 and Sunday 21 from 9am to 4pm.
It is part of the Open Garden organisation. According to www.myopengarden.com.au.
‘Our goal is to connect garden owners and visitors all across Australia and help them share their passion for gardening’.
Organisers say all proceeds will go to Zonta and LAM.
Zonta International describes itself as a ‘leading global organisation of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy’.
The LAM association says it ‘provides support and to improve the health prospects of women living with lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM)’.
Entry is $10 or $8 concession, children under 16 free. There will be children’s activities 10am–12pm Sunday, and plants will be available for sale.
