Mandy Nolan’s column (Echo, December 11, 2024) title ‘You want my feedback?’ demands that very thing about one very salient matter.
Now, we know that Adam Bandt is the worst leader the Greens have ever had (coming from his Trotskyist background). He has, in effect, corrupted and debased the ethos of the Greens. Nowhere and at no time has there been any feedback from previous leaders endorsing him.
In particular, there is the widely-perceived antisemitism of the Greens under Bandt.
Mandy Nolan should give us her ‘feedback’. Does she or does she not support what many perceive as the party’s antisemitic stance?
The ‘feedback’ should stick to the matter of antisemitism alone, not refer to Bandt’s leadership and certainly should contain no moral equivocation or moral equivalence that involves the use of any word that began with ‘I’.
